Sexy Birthday Homonyms: assent & ascent

It’s week three of the Sexy Grammarian’s birthday month of homonyms. My sexy example sentences guarantee you will never use the wrong word again! Here’s today’s:

The noun ascent is an upward movement, as in:

My eyes made an ascent from her stilettos to her breasts.

The noun assent is an agreement to a proposal, as in:

I asked for her assent while I fiddled with buttons of her blouse.
